TFA Sara's dairy part 6

TFA Sara’s dairy part 6

(authors note: “The ghosts of the woods.” Is written in loving memory of my grandparents, both of my father’s and mother’s sides.

My grandparents, I know our family tree must be big, and there are branches we didn't look at yet.

how many branches are there?

what might we find there among the branches?

who might we find there in the branches?

when will we find those branches?

Grandparents and those in my family tree, may God bless you, and may you and heaven above.

Guide and protect me and my family with love.

Thank you for being there for me and my family,

We miss you,

We love you.

may you help me climb up the tree to get to those branches.

before the tree is to high for me to climb.

and to high for anyone to climb.

Rest in Peace!

with love....

May 28 20**

My grandparents gave me 2 weeks of vacation time to hang out with Prowl!

They told me that I worked hard, and since they had their vacation, I can have mine, and that I deserved a break for all the hard work I did. (with Prowl’s help of course!)

Here are the stories of the two weeks Prowl and I spend together.

‘The ghosts of the woods.’

One day I was ridding through the woods on Ninja, going down every path.

The trees seem to rush by with a burr With colors of green and yellow.

The wind went through my hair. my hair fly's out like fire.

The only sounds are Ninja’s hoofs steps on the rich dirt, and her breathing.

We were in the deep part of the woods, so not much sun light shines there.

Beams of sun light shine through the dark trees, making light like patterns on the ground.

I got off Ninja, and holding the rains, we walked into the dark part of the woods.

it was dark, but I can see forms of deer, birds and other wildlife critters.

I looked down and on the ground was a glowing blue object.

I bend down to look.

it was a necklace, the cord was made of leather, and the stone was a light blue color gem.

it was about the size of my thumb.

it was beautiful!

it was partly covered with dirt, so I pick it up and looked at it.

then I hold it in front of Ninja to sniff.

then she smells a object she can tell who it belongs to.

but she sniff the necklace, and shooked her head side to side. that was her way of saying "I don't know who it belongs too."

I sighed. I wanted it so badly, but where Ninja and I were standing was a Native American burial ground.

it might belonged to somebody.

I looked around at the ground to see if there is more objects on the ground.

nothing but grass and dirt.

I looked up and saw blue lights, like fireflies, floating in the air, around Ninja.

I looked at my hand they were around my hand with the necklace too.

I started to put the necklace on the ground.

Ninja started to shake her head from side to side. she was saying no.

I grabbed the necklace with the other hand and started to put it around my neck, Ninja was nodding her head, yes.

I started to put it on the ground again, Ninja started to shake her head again. no.

I held the necklace  over my head, and slowly lowered it. the more I lowered it, the more Ninja nodded her head, yes.

I let go of the cord with one hand and held the stone with the other hand. Ninja was still nodding her head.

I let the stone go from my other hand. and let land on my chest, Ninja stopped nodding her head, and the blue lights disappeared.

I think that was a sign that I can keep it.

I rode up to the house,  to find my grandfather on the roof of the stables.

he was putting new roof tiles on the roof.

"Sara?" is that you?" he called from the roof.

"yes!" I called back. "where's Nina?"

"In the garden." my grandfather told me.

"you need help with anything?" I asked as I got down from Ninja.

"oh No! Sara! you are on vacation!" my grandfather said with a laugh.

my grandmother put her hands on my solders.

"and the only chores you will have to do, is to clean your room and take care of Ninja." she told me with a smile.

"make that 2 Ninjas!" I told her as I looked at Prowl. who was asleep in the hay.

"you are right about that! oh, what's this?" she looked at my necklace.

"I found it in the woods." I told her.

"where?" she asked

before I could answer. "Oh, never mind! it's yours!" she told me with a laugh.

and she walked away.

I walked in to the stables.

as I passed Prowl..."so, where did you find the necklace?"

I turned to face him. "I thought you were asleep!" I told him.

Prowl just smiled at me.

"no one is going to believe me." I turned to tire Ninja off, and went to get her brush, I put it on the table next to the saddle self and started to take her saddle off.

"what do you mean?" Prowl asked me. "you found it in the woods, I BELIEVE you!"

I started to brush Ninja. "where I found it, and how I know who it belongs to."

"what? Sara..." Prowl shooked his head, "you found it in the 'WOODS', what part of the woods did you find it?"

I put Ninja in her stall.

I sat down next to Prowl, "you promise you won't tell?"

"Sara.." Prowl stopped and nodded his head.

"I found it in the Native American burial grounds." I told him with a whisper. "and I know because Ninja said so."

Prowl looked at me.

"when Ninja smells something, she can tell who the object belongs to. I know that because one day I found a shirt in the woods, I let her sniff it. she then toke off, she headed back to the house, and rode up to my grandfather. she nodded her head. and the shirt is my grandfathers."  I told Prowl.

"I saw the necklace on the ground, I pick it up and let Ninja sniff it. she shooked her head as if saying 'no, I don't know who it belongs to.' and every time I put it on the ground she shooked her head. 'no'. and every time I put it around my neck she nodded her head. 'yes'."

"Sara...there is more." Prowl told me.

I nodded.

Prowl reach to put his servo on my hands. "you can tell me."

"I saw blue like fireflies around Ninja, and around my hand with the necklace. they seem to.... say that I can keep it, ACT like I can keep it." I told Prowl.

"and this was in the Native American burial grounds?" Prowl asked me.

I nodded. "yes."

Prowl smiled, "I guess you got permission from 'the ghosts of the woods'."
